The creative behind the Co.

I call myself many things. I like everything I do to be an investment in the account of “this is what I want my everyday life to be”. I’m your typical millennial in that way, I’m not one to wait to live my best life in my 60s. I’m all about doing all the special things I wish to experience and live, now when me and my kids are still young.

My most important roles are being a mother, educator and homemaker. I’m on my 8th year of homeschooling and I adore Maria Montessori’s work and try to incorporate her philosophy in my homeschooling together with nature schooling, gentle parenting and decolonized “unschooling”:
And since living ain’t free, when I’m not playing, teaching, adventuring with or caring for my kids I work as a Digital Marketer, Author, Educator, UGC Creator, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator.

My childhood was very tough, so, I decided on making a beautiful life for myself as an adult instead. Becoming a mother, I also committed myself to doing a lot of generational healing and giving my children a different and kinder childhood than the one I experienced.

I put a lot of value in respectful parenting, and doing a lot of healing as an adult. I believe in being humble and appreciative of tools & resources like money and work, and the freedom that can be given by those two.
Slow living and natural wellness are also two important pillars in my life. I lost a baby while pregnant, and lost my father to cancer, and having been close to death myself, I do my best to care for my family’s wellness in my fullest capacity.

All of these things are ultimately what has fuelled my passion and desire to help people make beautiful and healthy homes, support their wellbeing and help create businesses that makes a good impact in this world - using authentic relationships, respectful parenting, self-healing, growth, clean products and stunning design.

I love:

→ Maria Montessori’s teachings

→ Slow living

→ The kind of work that leaves room to be present in life

→ Music, all day every day, either played or made

→ When my bathroom smells like a clean sterile hospital bathroom (I’ve spent approximately 4 years in my 20s with hyperemesis gravidarum & morning sickness so I’ve developed a deep fear for unclean bathrooms haha)

→ Working towards being a more conscious consumer

→ The mindset of raising yourself as an adult to be able to better raise your kids

→ Learning about prepping and self-sufficient homestead:ing

I don’t love:

→ Rushed mornings

→ The cold + slush during autumn and spring

→ The “Hustle until you throw up” culture

→ Hectic days

→ When people feel like voicing their opinions no matter how inappropriate they are is the same as being honest and considerate

→ The term “talented” - I think it’s just a belittling word for someone who has put a lot of hours into learning something they are really interested in
