ABOUT ME

Hi lovely, I’m Briana.

I navigate the space where structure meets wildness, a mix of order and chaos if ya will. Grounded when grounding is needed, feral when it’s time to run with the wolves.

I’m a whimsical Sámi & Boricua mother of 6, a creative with a sarcastic side character, and a lifelong explorer of what it means to live connected rather than controlled. I never fit neatly into linear timelines or prescribed life paths, so I stopped trying. In my early twenties, discovering slow living changed everything. It became the beginning of a life centered on cycles, children, kinship, and the wisdom carried in the body.

My work weaves together design, storytelling, and lived experience. I homeschool my children in northern Sweden (Umeå) as I work as a graphic designer and UGC creator. I’m also the author of Kind, Wild and Slow — my debut book exploring parenthood and life through indigenous wisdom, nervous-system safety, and relational depth.

The book is currently being revised and expanded, honoring the season in which it was written while I was carrying and creating my sixth child. Like everything I do, it’s shaped by real life, not polished performance.

I hope you like this little online space I made. I wish it feels like coming home ❤️

The creative behind the Co.

I call myself many things. I like everything I do to be an investment in the account of “this is what I want my everyday life to be”. I’m your typical millennial in that way, I’m not one to wait to live my best life in my 60s. I’m all about doing all the special things I wish to experience and live, now when me and my kids are still young.

My core roles are mother, educator, and explorer. I’m in my 8th year of homeschooling, blending Maria Montessori’s philosophy with nature schooling, respectful parenting, and a decolonized, unschooling approach. When I’m not adventuring, teaching, or tending to the chaos of mothering 5 kids (one angel baby in heaven), I work as a Digital Marketer, Author, UGC Creator, Graphic Designer, and Illustrator - building a life where work and play both fuel our and our communities freedom.

My childhood was very tough, so, I decided on making a beautiful life for myself as an adult instead. Becoming a mother, I also committed myself to doing a lot of generational healing and giving my children a different and kinder childhood than the one I experienced.

Life has tested me. I lost a baby, I lost my father, and I’ve been close to death myself. These experiences didn’t break me—they sharpened me. They gave me a fierce devotion to my family’s wellbeing and to helping others build homes, businesses, and lives that honor health, beauty, and authentic connection.

All of these things are ultimately what has fuelled my passion and desire to help people make beautiful and healthy lives and families, support their wellbeing and help create businesses that makes a good impact in this world - using authentic relationships, respectful parenting, self-healing, growth, clean products and beautiful design.

Here are some random little things about me…

I love:

Maria Montessori’s teachings

Slow living

The kind of work that leaves room to be present in life

Music, all day every day, either played or made

When my bathroom smells like a clean sterile hospital bathroom (I’ve spent approximately 4 years in my 20s with hyperemesis gravidarum & morning sickness so I’ve developed a deep fear for unclean bathrooms haha)

Working towards being a more conscious consumer

The mindset of raising yourself as an adult to be able to better raise your kids

Learning about prepping and self-sufficient homestead:ing

I don’t love:

Rushed mornings

The cold + slush during autumn and spring

The “Hustle until you throw up” culture

Hectic days

When people feel like voicing their opinions no matter how inappropriate they are is the same as being honest and considerate

The term “talented” - I think it’s just a belittling word for someone who has put a lot of hours into learning something they are really interested in
